This game is not as good as the original

This game is somehow much worse than the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Whilst it ups the amount of objects you can have it limits you by having one of the worst track/road creators. Whereas the original let you just drag and drop, with this you have to orientate and lay down each square of track or road (Like the rollercoaster tycoon design, also by Chris Sawyer, it's fine for that game but not for this.) Like many other people I reccomend you get OTTD or the original. Or one of the Railroad Tycoons.

Open TTD..For the WIN!

Open TTD, short for Transportation Tycoon Deluxe, is both free, and a HUGELY better game. Also, do even a bit of research, and you can find a mod that adds dozens of different industries, and industry chains. There is absolutely no reason to purchase this game, even at the low price.

Don't play it after OpenTTD

If you ever played OpenTTD don't play Locomotion after it. You will be frustrated with controls, UI, economy just like I did. There's no way to group your vehicles, no way to clone vehicle with orders, no way to build rails and roads with your mouse (awful thing, took me 1 hour to connect 4 train stations with single rail and couple of junctions in the middle, not to mention signs - I would achieve the same in OpenTTD in 5 minutes). Once I connected it I realized I've lost alot of money because it won't pause (loss and restart). Next time I tried to connect same with truck routes, after 30 minutes it was done... just to learn that 1 truck hauls 5t of Ore and I'm in loss again. Definitely not recommended if you're used to play big OpenTTD maps with 1000 trains, you won't live THAT long to build all of your tracks :)

Nothing has changed 10 years after TTD

This is the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon Deluxe (TTD). TTD was a great game for it's time, but had a poor interface like most games of it's time. 10 years on, this is what the dev came up with. Nothing has changed, except that it runs on more modern OSes. The interface still sucks. If you want to set up any road transport, be prepared to click on the same set of stops for every truck/bus you buy. And you will need heaps, because they have barely any capacity. As most other reviewers have pointed out, OpenTTD is a open source clone of the original TTD, and it is a far better sequel. There is a great game in here, it's just buried under a maddening clickfest.

Crashed on launch

For some reason it crashed on launching the game. After crash super lag for my pc oddly enough.
