Description
Banished is a city building game where you control a group of exiled people who are restarting their lives in the wilderness. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland.

The townspeople work, build, get older, have children, and eventually die. Keeping them healthy, happy, and fed are essential to making a successful town grow. Any structure can be built at any time, provided that your people have collected the resources to do so.

There are many occupations that the people can perform from farming, hunting, and blacksmithing, to fishing, teaching, and healing. You can choose to replant forests, mine for iron, and quarry for rock, and more!
  • Build a city with any layout you want with almost no restriction on when, what, and where you build.
  • Keep the population happy and healthy by providing them with food and warm shelter.
  • Watch the town grow as you assign 20 different jobs to build buildings, grow food, craft tools and clothing, and more!

amazig but old game.

i love this game, its amazig, tho it did take some time to learn how to sucseeed. The merchants sell seds for way too much. i recomed using the tortoriald, or findig an explainer on youtube. still, this game is amazig and i could (and do) play it for houers.

Pleasant relaxing game

Years 1-4 of the game may be quite intense as you learn the game (Your people seem to randomly starve or wander off into a blizzard, or you realize too late that you've used up all the stone with no hope of obtaining more). However, as you become familiar, the difficulty curve drops significantly and it becomes more of a relaxed village-builder with resource management. The base game isn't terribly deep and the only real goal is to keep the village alive and growing, but it's pleasant, nice to look at and has calm music.

Nice little gem

Vanilla version is nice sweet and quickly done, though I don't really feel like playing it again. However... I am going to mod the humpback whale out og it and see where that takes me :D
