Hello,
(First, as a girl who barely understand anything in computers, and for whom english is not my native language, I would really appreciate it if you answer to me like I was a five year old. )
I have the same problem on several GOG games (Dungeon Keeper, and the serie Zeus, Pharaon and Ceasar 3). After several months (for DK) or days (for Zeus) of playing them without any problem at all, the games doesn't want to launch anymore :
when I launch them, I see for a few tenths of seconds the starting window loading, and then, they crash immediately, before even the video of présentation that preceeds the first menu. Then, it cames back to my desktop, all my icons messed up, and the game icon is still at the bottom of my desktop like it was running but nothing happens, even when i'm cliking it.
I tried several things : different compatibility modes, uninstalled et installed the games again, launch them as an administrator... nothing helps.
Maybye it is because of a Windows automatic update (I have Windows 8.1) : I don't remember seeing one being installed but it can have happened without me noticing it.
Does anyone have the same kind of problem ?
