I noticed it is Jrpg. I also noticed it is action genre (wow, i like action!). I want to ask; is this your traditional, TURN-BASED, jrpg? Or is it real time? Is it click&hit style, or menu and choice of desired action?

I was too lazy to find a gameplay video, but i really liked the artwork of this game i saw here lately, so i wanted to ask! I am considering getting it!
It wouldn't be of the action genre if it was turn-based. Action is like the opposite of turn-based.

All Ys games are very very action-focused. They actually even feel more "Arcade" than RPG. The basic gameplay style is the same as of Zelda, but it's a lot more focused on fast-paced combat.

Thanks for the reply! I am going to get them soon in highest probability, then!
I recommend getting Origin, Felceta or Napishtim as those are more action oriented than Chronicles.
Especially that Ys I and II are... old. And by it I mean that fight is "bump based" - you have to bump into monster in proper way to damage it.
I would recommend to search GOG Twitch channel for some Ys play, or just YT - you will see it in action and then decied if it's worth buying for you. I like the series, so for me it's obvious. :)
And also... I wouldn't call it jRPG. It has some RPG elements, but it doesn't make it a JRPG game.

Thanks for suggestion! Also, please, could you PM me the name of the project, your avatar is from?
I think that's Rachel Alucard from Blazblue. You can get that game on GOG too. It's a fighting game a la Street Fighter.
