Plugging in a DS4, when I start up Oath in Felghana, the game scrolls through the menu automatically, as if a directional button is being pressed and held on.

When I did manage to get into the game proper, I realize that the directional position being held onto was towards North-West corner.

Going into the game confiq, I can see that there's a game-pad input menu tab, when I check it, I see that there is a deadzone drag bar, and a joystick simulation that shows my joystick directional movement, the simulation shows that indeed somehow the game is registering the controller directional is being held onto, but there's nothing wrong with the controller, I tried to plug in another DS4 and receive the same problem.

I tried dragging the deadzone bar around and the simulation for a moment reverts back to neutral, but when i start up the game the problem persists, the directional is still being held down and rendering the controller pretty much unusable with the game.

Is there any fix to this?

The problem is, that the game thinks the triggers are a third analog stick. When they are not pressed, their values are 0, which this game interprets as north west. If you would half press the triggers, the cursor in the main menu would stop moving, however you obviously can't play the game like that.

You can solve the problem by using DS4Windows, which will create a virtual controller, that doesn't have this problem.
Additionally you can install http://lavendy.net/special/driver/xi/xi.win7.x64.en.zip to get rumble in the game. To install this driver on WIndows 10, you have to right click the setup and activate the compatibility mode for previous Windows in the compatibility tab. Do a full install.

Is there something similar that works with an Xbox One Controller? MS's driver for it is unsupported shit & I would like to have better control over key asignments & to actually have the rumble work.
I'm getting the same problem on ys the ark of napishtim and I have install DS4Windows and xi.win7.x64.en.
Strange it's I didn't have problem on Steam version.
