Hey

I'm trying to play Ys Origin with an Xbox 360 controller but for some odd reason the game acts as though I have the analogue stick pointed downwards so the options menus scroll down forever. Then if manage to get into the game my stupid little character runs downwards too.

I've tried calibrating the controller and that got me nowhere. I also looked for any settings that might help in the config tool but I'm not all clued up on that stuff so I don't really know what the problem might be. I wondered if anybody here would?

I've had this problem before on PCSX with lilypad but with other drivers or other games from GOG like Trails I've not had the problem before. Any help appreciated!

it seems like it was made for Dinput rather then Xinput. A rare thing for a pc game in this day and age.
Is there a solution for Ys Origin that will allow 360 Controllers to work without encountering the problem GarryKE described?
My problem is usually the reverse(all my pc controllers are dinput) so my knowledge is limited but, there are probably 3rd party drivers that can fix your issue.

edit: I told x360wc works but, because my pc has no way of detecting my 360 controller I can't test this.

Hey. Thanks. I'll give it a bash :)

Edit:
Nope. The problem persists, only now it's in reverse and the cursor moves upwards. I have tried changing the settings again and still nowhere.
