I found only one topic that offered any help on this on GOG, but I both don't want to download an outside program, and have the wrong bit for my system, so it wouldn't work anyway. So I'll ask, anyone know of a way to make your way through the final boss fight? I played as Hugo, and can beat the boss easily enough, but it gets to the fade out after the Goddess have put the essence in the Pearl, then crashes.

Have you tried disabling video playback? (You can watch the ending online or find another way to play the video if you really want to see it.)

That worked, annoying mind, but I've dealt with similar problems with the Might and Magic series. I will now start on Yun's playthru.

You could also try this, if you do want to watch the videos (seriously, who would choose not to watch Ys videos?!)
