If you want to be sure, download it again and disable you AV software while installing.
Gotta be a false positive. What are you using for anti-virus?
I use AVG 2011 free edition

I have had so many false positives from avg free, so I would say that its avg flagging a false positive

(sorry, I have nothing else to contribute except to say that it's very probably a false positive)

Definitely a false positive then, AVG is really bad for that. You might want to consider switching to a different, less bloated and much better anti-virus solution. Even Microsoft Security Essentials is a better free anti-virus that AVG these days.

I always recommend Avast to people. Comodo seems good as well, but it gives a ton of false positives that you have to override. Both are free programs.

Invest a little money in your computer security. I enjoy my protection from PrevX, very rare false positives, and those that are obvious, just flag 'em as false and carry on.
Actually, free programs work great. You've just gotta' have the right free programs, and the OP doesn't. =P
Oh I know they can work great, I've been an IT Technician for almost 8 years now, but I prefer to spend the little bit of money on a solid product that I can have faith in, at the cost of what... one less new release game a year? The prices are affordable on decent software nowadays, so IMO that little bit spent on protection is worth it. (Suddenly sounds like a condom advert....)

That goes against everything GOG stands for!

Btw, I don't believe you're in IT. Your English is too good.

I caught a nasty anti-1337 n375p34k virus when using AVG a few years back, it rendered me unable to reach the depths of illiteracy I once revelled in :( sad panda, I am.
Avira makes me a Happy Panda (love South Park).
And, I work for a competing AV company.
:D

As a fellow IT Technician (over a decade now) I have to strongly disagree with this. I have yet to find a commercial anti-virus product that is more effective and better on your system resources than some of the free alternatives out there. There are some that are equal to their free counterparts, but better... not so much. They are definitely not worth the money spent on them in the slightest. The only environment where a commercial product makes any kind of sense is in the corporate world, simply because most of the freebies don't offer the kind of control over a network of protected machines that the commercial products do.
