Worth noting that you really need to set this up prior to playing the game.

Thank you .
The guide tells you to find a file called xiii.ini - and I where unable to find it. Has it been renamed into default.ini? Because those parameters are there and changing them seems to help.

Yes, I edited the xiii.ini file. It should be there in the system folder.
What about Eyefinity support? Anyone try it yet?

Do you have Windows configured to hide the extensions of known file types (it's the default setting)? If so, that might be why you can't see it; .ini is definitely a known file type. On my system, with the files sorted by name, XII.ini is right between XIII.frt and XIII.int. If you are missing that, then it sounds like there is something wrong with your installation and you may need to re-install the game.
Sweet.
Thanks.
I was gunna post about if this game supported WS or not.

Gunna buy now.
Never heard of this or played it before, but it looks really interesting.
Oh excellent, I was just wandering over to this forum to see if I could trick it into supporting widescreen.

Edit: I too am unable to locate the XIII.ini file, and I don't have that extension to hidden, as I was easily able to find the DefUser.ini file without issue.

Are you running on Vista or Win 7? If so, this might be one of those situations where Windows is putting the file in a weird location, like C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming.
You have to start the game once, the xiii.ini file will be created then.
Just quit without creating a profile and edit the file.

(1680x1050 seems to working just fine)

I have started the game, I played a few multiplayer matches at 1024x768 then decided to try to see if I could get my laptop's native resolution of 1280x800 working, and I'm just not seeing the XIII.ini file at all :\

EDIT: and I did gander through Appdata, and didn't find much of anything pertaining to XIII.

No, sorry - it did not create the file...

Nor is the file in any other location...

And I always show hidden files, never understood the reason to have hidden files...

Oh well, looks like it needs a new install. Interesting enough the game works fine without it

For everyone running Windows 7, I found the location of XIII.ini.

C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\XIII\System

Now running at 1600x900. I'll try Eyefinity later this evening and let everyone know how it goes.

**edit**
This is the file location if you have XIII installed on a the same drive as the OS (Both Windows and XIII on C:). This includes the xiii.ini and your save profiles. When installed on another drive (Windows on C:, XIII on D:), the files stay in the game directory.
