I applied the x=1920 and y=1080 // fov settings both to 100 -- saved the config files with Notepad

When I boot the game, nothing seems to have worked. I went back to the config files and the settings were saved, but the game is not acknowledging them

Any advice?

Which config files did you edit? What lines did you modify?

If you are using Windows 10, you may want to install this mod which adds widescreen resolutions and enhances various aspects of the game.

You may have saved the XIII.ini as XIII.ini.txt if Notepad save prompt had used txt datatype for saving, so the new settings are not accessible.

If you should keep stuck with it for whatever reason, install the mentioned mod and it will just work.

Hello, i have the same problem and the one about mouse sensivity. I want try the mod but the server who host it seems down. Is someone have another link ? Thanks.

Moddb is back online so you should be able to download the community mod now. I also recommend checking out the XIII Discord. They have another patch available there that fixes even more stuff.

Sorry I haven't replied yet. My HDD broke and so I was not able to do much the last week. To answer your question:

The Discord (InsideXIII) with the even newer BETA patch can be joined using this link: https://discord.gg/tVGNKUGF (if this link doesn't work let me know and I'll update it).

Once you've joined you can find the link for the latest patch (hosted on MEGA) in the patch-beta-builds section.
