I've got no sound during cutscenes (incl. intros like Ubisoft, etc). The in-game sound works perfectly fine.
Has anyone else the same problem or a solution?

Sound-System:
Realtek ALC899A, optical audio output
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
latest drivers
I also have this same issue.

Win7 64bit
latest drivers
ASUS Crosshair IV motherboard using integrated audio
Audio is Creative X-fi chipset integrated audio.

In-game sound effects and soundtrack work just fine.
Same here. This is my first time using gog... did I do something wrong? Would redownloading it using the GOG downloader rather than the browser have any effect on this?

EDIT: Running it in compatibility mode for XP SP3 seems to have fixed the problem for me.

I can confirm that. Compatibility Mode Windows XP Service Pack 3 fixed the problem.

Thanks. Can't understand why I didn't think trying that. :)
I had this issue out of nowhere halfway through the game tonight. I restarted the game and suddenly it worked fine again.

Weird.
I had this happen to me in Mafia 2, 1/2 way through the game.
To fix it, I had to uninstall the Asus X-FI drivers, and just stay with the Realtek drivers.
Asus Rampage III Formula mobo.
