Game card just appeared on Steam and DX12 is mentioned as system requirement. I wonder - a simple mistake or not?
I don't think so. Unless I'm hallucinating I just spent most of yesterday play the latest Closed Beta V2.1 of Xenonauts 2. I'm playing on my Win 7 machine. Not sure right now which version of DX this machine has. I don't expect the final version of Xenonauts 2 will not be playable on Win7. Seems like a stupid way to build the game.

Can't say the game is ready for public release yet, since it isn't, but it is looking good. Not a lot of bugs that I can find, but I'm sure as they add more content stuff will sneak in. What they do have ready (probably very little compared to what they'll have when they get it all done) is good fun.

You're correct about the Steam specifications saying that. However, the GOG specifications say that it works on Windows 7, 8, and 10. One more reason to buy on GOG instead of Steam, as if I needed another.
Win 7 if using a newer ATI video card will run DX11 and some DX12. DX10 went by by
as far as I'm aware didn't M$ release DX12 for W7 ? god i hate W10 even though I'm stuck with it

Just in case a developer is reading these topics, I too am a Linux user. Please consider this my request too. Xenonauts was awesome on Linux. Even if it may not be the same quality experience due to mods being platform specific, please do not omit a Linux version. Thanks.
