Travelling in terran space has been a real pain in the ass since jump drive is useless in most terran sectors. However, recently I noticed there are a couple of jump beacons in saturn, Uranus sector. You know, the ones with laser tower just like Commonwealth counterpart.

However, I am unable to make use of them. After I press Shift+J to bring up the universe map, click the corresponding terran sectors fail to bring up the sector map, so I cannot target and lock to the beacons, thus unable to make the jump.

This happens to terran sectors with transorbital accelerators and no jump gates.

What's worse is my universal traders have no problem using those beacons, and when they do, the laser tower guarding the jump beacon turns on the UT and blow it up. I can only watch as I'm unable to send reinforcement due to aforementioned bug.

In one such incident, two of my UTs decided to jump to the same beacons in Saturn, they were instantly wiped out by the lasertower, however, before they die, they launched more than a dozen fighter drones, which managed to slowly grind the laser tower to dust, and in the meantime, reducing my terran reputation from mars access all the way back to revolutionary.

Sorry for the incredibly long post, this is just so damn frustrating. Is there a way for player to make use of the jump beacons in terran sectors? And out of curiosity, is there a way to tell universal traders to AVOID using them?
Travelling in Terran space is indeed a pain and an area I mostly avoid in the games. Very fast ships, like the Kestrel or Springblossom are good to avoid having to spend years on travelling across their corner of the universe.

UTs are too dumb to let loose without mods that give you more tools to guide them, like blacklisting systems.

I wonder why you cannot jump into the Terran sectors. What could be wrong. Unfortunately I do not have a suitable save in X3AP but I am pretty sure I have jumped to those beacons before in a now deleted game.

Did you remember to personally go to all sectors and apologise to them to turn most reds into neutrals? Some will remain red though. Stations still hostile you make neutral with hiring some hacker (lightbulb mission) but any leftover hostile lasertower I do not know, except getting rid of them. If nobody in a sector from that faction is red to you, there is no need to apologise in that sector.
I remember when I was doing the Albion prelude main plot mission, I accidentally strayed into Saturn sector and was warned by terrans to leave instantly. I complied. Since the jump beacons and laser towers are not in my scanner range, I do not know their IFF status.

I went back to Saturn and Uranus to double check the terran patrols after finishing the main plot with the terran reputation of citizen.I cannot find any hostile patrol ship. I hailed the patrols and find out there were no apologise option. I managed to find the hostile laser towers, however, they have no crew on board, so apologise is not an option.

I tried to snipe the laser towers using powerful missiles such as hammerhead, firestorm etc, but the laser towers always intercept them. In one unlucky incudent, I tried to fire hammerhead missiles in quick succession, the laser tower destroyed the first one, since hammerhead missiles have huge blast range, the explosion got chained back to my ship and killed me.

Is there a way to remove the hostile laser towers without further damaging my terran reputation?
