I've liked many space games I've played in the past like KOTOR 1, KOTOR 2, and the first three Mass Effect games. How similar is this game to those games?

Cars and bicycles can drive on the road. Can they still be compared with each other? Why do you have to compare all spacegames?
Why don't you just watch some youtube videos. There is no easier way.

This is nothing like Mass Effect or KOTOR. X4 is not a character based RPG. Just look up youtube vids.
