If you are on Windows 10 and get boxes in Worms Armageddon or World Party Remastered that you can't get rid of, the solution is simple (credit to UnluckyForSome from Steam). Just right-click on the game's executable file in its directory (WA.exe for Armageddon, w2.exe for World Party Remastered), go to Properties -> Compatibility, and then tick the "Disable fullscreen optimizations" box. Apply, then OK.

This is not a good solution! Then you have no frame limiter and get screen tearing.
thanks this is what i needed.
Any other suggestions for this problem?

Checked the box, even followed the posts elsewhere and made it "for all users" and still get one really annoying white empty box frame.

This happens going between rounds in single player, not sure about multiplayer.

W 10 btw.

Not game ending but it would be I think if It happens in multiplayer, very intrusive sitting there in the upper left corner of my screen.

In Armageddon, you can change the renderer in the Advanced section of the options menu.

Hey,
Thanks for the response!

I will take a look later. What should I be looking to change too or from?

Thanks Again

There are multiple options, so test them all out and see what works best with your hardware.

Oh well.

Nothing seems to work and messing with the renderer seems to cause more problems than it's worth.

Strange that fix worked for so many folks...

Maybe an uninstall/reinstall, but then I'm not sure what happens to all the custom stuff (voices/maps/etc.) May back all that up and try it at some point.

Thanks again for trying at least, appreciate it!
