I just saw that a linux port was released but unfortunately it's only available on Steam so far.
Is there any info when it will be available on GOG?
I'm waiting for it as well
The wait is over.
... but did anybody get it running? On 32Bit it installs, takes forever to start (loading shaders) and ultimately hangs after putting out the first notes of sound (or did I imagine the last bit?). On 64 Bit:

Uncompressing Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (GOG.com) 100%
Collecting info for this system...
Operating system: linux
CPU Arch: x86_64
trying mojosetup in bin/linux/x86_64
USING en_US

PANIC
Initial setup failed. Cannot continue.

Error: Couldn't run mojosetup
Nevermind, re-download fixed the 64 Bit installation issue, would have expected a sanity check in the unpacking part of the installer. Still sloowly starting up, but maybe there are some insane graphics card requirements for a game like that I overlooked.

... faster than expected, but back to not working - well, not displaying. From the sound of it I could start some intro and stuff, but only with a transparent application.

Hello Michaxm,
I'll ask flibit/ethan to help. It may be due to graphics cards and/or drivers issues. Writing up more about your setup would help.

Can you post the output of `glxinfo | grep version`? I'd also be interested in knowing the CPU/RAM info, but the graphics info will probably help us out the most.
Well - I _did_ overlook older Intel graphics are not supported.

Graphics: OpenGL 3.2 Core Profile support, Intel HD 4000-5000 series (Intel HD 3000 series unsupported)
Where it did not work at all: a GM 965/GL960 Integrated Intel (T61) - Open GL I guess 2.1.

Here is a system where it works - albeit the graphics output hangs a lot, can ingame be reset by toggling fullscreen.
