Hey,

I can't seem to access the debug mode for Wolf 3D and I'm wondering if the GOG version is one of the cheat codeless ones?

I can use the M-I-L feature, but I can't get access to the Tab+G god mode or anything like that.

Anyone help me out on this?

M-L-I is a separate cheat (acronym for "Machine Language Interface". Also B-A-T is another). In order to get the tab cheats you want, you need to alter the DOSBox .conf files wherever they're installed, Look for the one where at the bottom it has the command "wolf3d.exe" or "wolf3d", and add -goobers to the end to make it look like the following :

wolf3d -goobers

Save it. Then rerun the the link for the game and once in a level hit :

[Left Shift] + [Alt] + [Backspace]

It should give you a message saying "Debugging keys now enabled"

After that, the codes on the following page will work.

I have been trying to activate the cheats as well. I am not real knowledgeable when it comes to how to do this. I looked in the config file located in the Wolfenstien3d folder "dosbox_wolf3d_single.conf" and found the following

I tried to add the command goobers right after the wofl3d.exe and all I get when I start the game is the message to quit the game.
I tried different ways wolf3d.exe -goobers
wolf3d.exe-goobers.

nothing seems to work. I tired just typing it in the short target line
"C:\GOG Games\Wolfenstein 3D\DOSBOX\DOSBox.exe" -conf "..\dosbox_wolf3d.conf" -conf "..\dosbox_wolf3d_single.conf" -noconsole -c exit -goobers.

It is wolf3d.exe -goobers (I include a screenshot of my current doxbox_wolf3d_single.conf file).

When the game starts (before the memory check screen appears) if you keep the M key pressed you can enter a Jukebox (it has 3 different track lists but in order to get to the others you need to exit the game and do this again, they are random, my original game came with a cool Strategy Guide).

As for the cheats, while in a level, hold LeftShift + Alt + Backspace(Delete key over Enter/Intro)

In-game Cheats
To use these, you have to start the game with the "-goobers" command line parameter:

wolf3d.exe -goobers

Then while playing the game, press [LeftShift+Alt+Backspace] to enable the cheats. Now you can just press one of the following key-combinations to activate the corresponding cheat.

TAB+W Level Select
TAB+X Extra Stuff - not sure what this does

These two cheats don't require the use of an command line parameters - just press them while playing.

-----The NOCLIP cheat can't be used on GOG version, there are other minor cheats/things you can do but you could just "google them" and... sorry NO AARDWOLF texture to search (If you know what I mean)-----

Alternatively, use ECWolf (the latest builds have built-in support for GOG installations, meaning it'll find the game files wherever you installed them, so there's no need to setup anything, just extract the content of the 7zip file somewhere and click on ecwolf.exe), and then refer to this.
