Seems to be loads of problems for many users, and on Steam (where you can see version history) the last update was 2014, so guess nothing has been done to fix this either.

Really odd, when they release a "new" game where you need to have played The New Order first for the story, but that old game is full of bugs/leaks/crashes and yet totally abandoned :/

Might be money down the drain, so not sure if I want to gamble on this...
I could of course just watch a playthrough on youtube and then buy The New Colossus, which seems to be a much better game, and save me some money too :)
I had 0 issues running New Order or Old Blood on my Windows 10 PC. Played through both games at least two times.

Ok :)
Yeah probably works for most people, or they would have pulled it from the store.
But seems like a old messy release nonetheless...I'll see how I'll do...
I'm watching it on yt instead, and if I like what I see I'll buy the new one on sale :)
If not I've saved myself loads of money and can buy something else instead :D

You shouldn't spoiler yourself too much watching gameplay videos, it will certainly ruin the element of surprise for you. The New Order is definitely worth playing, it is a true gem. It's not just a plain shooter, it has interesting weapons/gadgets which serve special purposes/mechanics in-game, and they can be upgraded while you progress. The story is told in very well-made entertaining cutscenes and interactive situations and you get to visit very interesting diverse locations. Early in-game you are required to make a certain choice (I'm not spoiling it here), this choice will alter the story and experience later on, so it's worth playing the game through at least a second time.

No I meant watch INSTEAD of play, and then maybe buy the newest game.
But I though TNO was a bit silly, and had some real boring elements of walking around 10 minutes searching fore some document hidden in some corner in one of 20 rooms...

I ended up buying SOMA instead, at 80% sale :)

Yes, I got that in the first place. I tried to convince you to actually buy and play The new Order instead of just watching gameplay videos of it. It is not quite comparable to The new Colossus, as the former puts more weight on good storytelling with cutscenes and interactive elements (= interacting with NPCs), while the latter emphasizes the action. Both games provide excellent action shooter gameplay.

If you base your decision just on that video you mentioned, you'll miss out on a very good game. You should consider buying Wolfenstein: The Two Pack, it contains both The new Order and The old Blood. It's quite a bargain when on sale for a mere 9,00 USD.

It seems that many players with AMD graphic cards have issues with game crashes and freezes on cutscenes.
Currently playing The Old Blood on Windows 11 on integrated graphics
Guess you'll be fine
