Berzerk2002: Back then it was. Nowadays this is not the case anymore. Sure the german version remains censored but as a German customer you are able to get the uncensored international version without any problems now.
I'm not German, but I live in Germany and yeah, especially older WW2 games used to be no-go on consoles. The disk just doesn't have other languages and it is only the censored version.

And sorry, but I am not going to play a WW2 game if my side speaks German and the enemy is not wearing Nazi symbols. I much prefer if my side speaks English and we shoot at the guys who are wearing Nazi symbols. But that's just me.
I just picked up The New Colossus and found out that it defaults to the German Version.. I literally have no idea how to switch to the English version other than maybe re-installing the game. Anyone able to help?
(EDIT): Nevermind, I had to jump through a bunch of hoops, try to find the right version, and install that....

So for those of you having this problem, in GOG Galaxy, uninstall the German version first. Then look to the left of the Overview link at the top, there should be a number 2 next to a diamond icon. Click that and you'll see the two versions of The New Colossus. Select the English version and then click install.

Now go forth and kill some Nazis

Thanks Ceezerr. I'am doing that now. When finished, will I be able to uninstall the German version? I am new to GOG and don't know anything about it:))

Also, my purchase included Wolfenstein II: The Freedom Chronicles - Season Pass. I thought that was another game included, but don't see a way to download that and it does not appear in my downloads or Installed section in GOG Galaxy. Should I contact support on that or am I really missing something obvious??

I think you can uninstall the German version at any time (just remember to select it from the drop down). As for the DLCs I think they're installed automatically but I'm not sure. I haven't tried loading them up since I barely started the main campaign.
