Hello Steven,

Unfortunately, we can't support Wolcen on GOG anymore. However, I can propose you a Steam key to continue playing Wolcen with its most recent updates.

The game will stay available in its current Alpha state(0.5.0.5c) in your GOG library, but it won't be updated anymore with future updates.

In order to provide you with your Steam key, please reply to this mail with the following attachments:
- A readable screenshot of the email of your Wolcen purchase on GOG
- A readable photo of your ID

Upon reception, we will give you a Steam key so you can play Wolcen in its latest version and update it whith the most recent patches as soon as they are live.

Yeah, I'm 100 % with you there.
Going to ask for a refund today, this isn't acceptable, the dev should get the boot, I'm fine with delayed updates, but this is pushing it too far.
Edit: Just sent the refund request. It sucks having to do it, but I don't want an unfinished product sitting in my library. :/
Going to blacklist that dev as well.

It's just sad, I liked the game, but Steam is not an option for me.

It's just sad, I liked the game, but Steam is not an option for me.
Just requested the refund myself. I got excited when I read about and watched a trailer for the beta only to be disappointed it's not happening here.

EDITED: I have provided them with my GOG purchase data and still waiting for any reply via email.
There is an option on GOG to view orders account: privacy and settings. Scroll to wind Wolcen and open it. Take a screenshot and send it to the mail of CM. In several hours they reply with a Steam key.

Got my refund this morning. thanks to the GoG team for helping.

Alao to those saying you can get a steam key. I bought it here to avoid having to use steam.

It looks like that you guys aren't worth their attention / time. But at least they posted something in a thread over at their Steam forum.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.
They can't even be bothered to come up with a reason why not. Then again, it's very likely that they will add micro transactions to their pay-to-play game, while still in Early Access. Nothing I would want to support.

I've just submitted a ticket for a refund. I will never support these devs again.

Edit: Refund accepted. Immediately purchased the Grim Dawn: Forgotten Gods DLC.

I never thought I would ever need to request a refund from my beloved GOG.


Edit; GOG support contacted me about my issue and is going to issue a refund. Thanks again for the assistance.
