trusteft: Did anyone actually play this game (from GOG)?
I mean more than just load the intro.
Yes, I played it, but I can't enter two buildings to get quests, the old man didn't appear until I reset the game in the game menu and I can't exit the right gate. And the game seems to be impossible hard. And I think I can't use spells

I meant from GOG as in the staff who decided to release this in this condition.
I said that because if people on GOG (staff) who I assume test the games before release, saw this game, I am wondering why did they choose to release it like this.

Don't get me wrong, GOG support is excellent so far to me and I got a refund, but it is a shame.

If they manage to fix the game, I will buy it again. If nothing else for the very beautiful (even though pixelated now) graphics.

Huff: Thanks for the reply.

Shows they don't have confidence in fixing it anytime soon (mores the pity)
I'm pretty sure that confidence in a fix has nothing to do with their refund policy.
I just don't understand why you sell this if the mouse isn't fixed. This game is very niche, but those interested in that niche have all known for YEARS what the issues with the game were, and to see it finally come to GOG and be released in the exact same state it has been in for the last decade is disappointing to say the least.

Maybe Activision gave them a time-frame.

Just to be clear, these issues weren't in the original release, right? GOG doesn't fix bugs that were in the original release.
Hello there!
If you play this on the original system that this was released for(I did) these graphics glitches and mouse response bugs are not in the game. These are definitely as a result of newer systems.
GOG has a reputation of putting fixes into these games to make them playable on modern systems. With the actual needed fixes available I expected them to be integrated in their wrapper.

Abby
Seems to be working under Linux with WINE 3.15

Not applied any of the fan made patches or town avi fixes.
Just the offline installer in a clean Windows 7 prefix.

Was able to reset the game state, create a party, enter buildings, exit the town and fight the bandits at least.

Perhaps in the future GOG will somehow be able to make use of Proton (Wine) in order to solve issues like this.
Newer versions of Windows have no resemblance to old editions and the situation is bound to get worse with time.
Maybe we actually need Wine for Windows as ludicrous as that sounds.

Has there been any indication from GOG that they are going to try and fix the problems?
