I've been playing Wizardry 7 and have gotten to the first town. I was wondering if you enter one of the condemned or guarded areas and fight the creatures there if it affects your relations with the race of the creature that attacks you.

For example, there were a couple of rooms that I picked locks on and entered that were guarded by Gorn spearmen and T'Rang youngins (or however they were called). If I killed them will it affect race relations later? If it does is it a big deal? Would like to know before I get too far in in case I screwed myself.

Only killing special NPCs or doing certain quests will affect your relations. Random or semi-random fights won't matter at all.

I wouldn't bother about relations at all.

Ok, thanks. Was thinking what with the way Wizardry 8 does things they might have an effect. Didn't want to potentially lock myself out of some quests or make it harder to figure out what to do if they give directions.
