Annyone know how experience works here? Does all skills get overall boost after missions, sucsesses, or is it conected to what you do, like hits give you better shooting, shooting gives you better mech, getting hit gets you better stamina etc. I also wonder what people boost at the start, to get a good start with your rookie.

Passing the mission and destroying secondary targets in Strafing runs boosts Shooting.

Passing the mission in Strafing run and surviving gives you a boost to Mechanical - more for fewer hits

Passing the mission in Bombing run and destroying secondary targets boosts Flying

Avoiding getting shot down in a Bombing run boosts Stamina

(Manual, page 12)


*Edit* as for starting skills, I drop to 20 points in flying and increase the other scores to 40 each.

Shooting affects range and damage, Stamina increases survival chance on collision or hit from Archie and Mechanical gets guns back into action faster. Losing a bit of smoothness in the flight-sim part of the game is trivial by comparison.
