WC1 from GOG is the DOS version wrapped into DOSBOX, so you can use pretty much any joystick as long as is recognized by the OS; when in-game, push CTRL-F1 to access the DOSBOX mapper

User interface is not exactly friendly, but workable with a bit of practice... see here
