Bruiser419: Game worked fine yesterday when going into the main game. Today, assuming after the update, it starts up and allows me to choose between the main game and RF and then it just hangs there with the cursor blinking in the top left corner.

Any idea what the issue is and what I need to change to get it to work again?

asdalmeida: Not sure if it is the exact same issue, but I was having the same problem with the cursor being stuck in the top left corner in WC3 after the update.

Try the solution I posted here: https://www.gog.com/forum/wing_commander_series/gog_preservation_program_13nov2024_update_broke_wc3_for_me_solution_provided (but do it in the WC Privateer folder and not the WC3 folder ;) ).

bliznik: Oh no! What does "the update" mean? Is there something I shouldn't update to ensure that my copy continues to work?
