I'm currently flying the first Alcor mission, the first one after Blair finds out Angel is killed.
Blair is not drunk, BTW.

I auto-piloted with Hobbes to the first Nav point.
I destroyed the first 3 corvettes that appeared.
At that point, the Sheffield, a bunch of Darkets, and another Corvette appeared.
We destroyed all the Darkets.
The Corvette was shown at a great distance (over 80,000) but then it disappeared.

Since then, I can see no enemy on the radar. However, every minute or so, Hobbes says either "enemy sighted", or "I am ready to engages". If I tell him to "break and attack", he zooms around aimlessly for a bit, then returns to my side.

AutoPilot is not selectable, so i can't continue to the next nav point.
How do I finish this mission if I can't see any enemy?

Thanks for any ideas.

I encountered the exact same problem while playing on Veteran difficulty. I restarted the mission with difficulty set to Rookie and Invulnerability on. The enemy fighters were quickly destroyed, and so was the enemy Corvette that appeared later. Then the Sheffield jumped, right when all the enemies were killed. It hadn't done so the first time. The rest of the mission worked as well. Maybe you can try the same.
Thanks for the information. I managed to complete the mission after ejecting and trying it again.

On the second run-through, after dispatching the initial group of 3 corvettes, I sent wingman Hobbes after the single corvette in the second wave, which he destroyed. Meanwhile, I attacked and destroyed the Darkets that were assaulting the Sheffield. Sadly, the Sheffield was lost before I could kill the last of the Darkets. However, I did get the auto-pilot prompt to proceed to the next Nav Point.
Hi there :)

I know this thread is 4 years old. But this bug....i cant resolve it.
Has anybody some advice for me?

I cant end this mission :( Its the same problem..

Edit: I tried this mission for 2 hours. The problem disappeared. Magic :/

The only way for me was to eject (CTRL + E), couldn't get the mission to work. After ejecting, the game continued normally but the mission counts as failed.
The mission bugs out sometimes, the best way to solve it is to get rid of the corvettes quickly as an earlier post mentioned. It's not a required mission for beating the game so worst comes to worst, just eject.

I was able to fix this bug by reducing the cycles in my wc3dosbox config file to 100000 instead of using 150000. Go figure why that corrected it, but it did for me. I found that solution somewhere online, I forget where.
