DOSbox recognizes the joystick and shows Y-/Y+, X-/X+ for axis 1, but it does nothing in the game. Also, I am not sure what axis 3/4 are...This might be the pivot feature and the throttle feature. In any case, they aren't working on auto,4axis or 2axis settings.

Reiterating what is in the title, I have a logitech Force3dPro.joystick (with throttle and 12 buttons),

I have a 3d extreme and have had success with these settings in the dosbox config files:

joysticktype=fcs
timed=false
autofire=false
swap34=true
buttonwrap=false

These settings advanced me from "nothing" to "broken." I can get the calibration screen to work, but actually using the joystick is another matter. It will fire, but constantly rolls and dives. Perhaps it spent too long in my closet.

Make sure the mouse control option is turned off in the game, that was the same problem i had when it was enabled and trying to use the joystick.

Edit: Just remembered, unplug any other joysticks/game devices that might be plugged in too.
