3dfx through nglide is possible but wonky. I tend to have mix results depending on what graphics card the computer i'm using has. Personally I'd nix the voodoo and go with the opengl patch. It has all the glide effects translated into opengl and then some, including bloom and improved skyboxes.
Works on both prophecy and Secret Ops
