Asymmetric Publications CEO Zack "Jick" Johnson just got #metoo'd by wackadoodle UC Santa Cruz assistant 'professor' of "Games & Playable Media" Aliah M. Darke, without any sort of supporting evidence or any mention of taking this to court of course, and his 'friends' and colleagues are falling over themselves in their hurry to throw him under the bus and distance themselves... Amazing...

I had West of Loathing on my wishlist for years before recently deciding that the game isn't really for me, but I guess now I'm getting it after all, just as soon as I feel confident that Asymmetric Publications won't manage to fire Johnson. Heck, I'm half wondering whether this isn't all an elaborate marketing ploy, that's how bad a job this woman is doing at making her story believable.

Are all #metoo dramas made up or just most of them? What do y'all think?

Yep that's why we have courts of law for these things, so due to that while I might observe what people claim its all piss in the wind at the end of the day. Sadly peoples lives can be affected by this just because someone decides to make things up for drama and if the claims are real there are appropriate channels for these things.
