Witch2Gog6: ERISS: This is exactly what sexist men say to women who point out the lack of female protagonists within any genre.
ERISS: Nice, I'm male and I don't care if I can't play a male if the story involves a woman, or an alien or a cube or whatelse.
Maybe some males don't read books nor see films where the protagonist is a woman too: same, I'll say they miss these books or films if they are good. What a sexist I am against men, telling them to see good films.
Censorship will ask a male protagonist for excellent "Joan of Arc" from P.Besson
Sorry, I meant to respond to you last year.
Yeah, not surprised. I totally expected you to identify as a "male", which probably says something about my experience and personal biases, but that is not the point.
What you posted here is exactly like a typically racist argument. Basically, the racist asserts they have somehow managed to speak intelligibly in a modern language while also being totally ignorant of racial categories, to the point of being literally "colour-blind". The audience for this dishonest rhetoric is expected to believe the racist has somehow transcended all human racist realities and so are ipso facto not a racist. I have many bigoted family members who try this. They think they are pretty smart but really aren't.
What you posted looks like an 'I-don't-see-sexes-or-genders' kind of bigotry which is exactly the kind of game an unapologetic bigot who is playing games around and about their bigotry would play.
Read, and think more. I seriously doubt you have magically transcended sex/gender categories since humans still collectively struggle with these issues.
