I just downloaded patch 6 which appeared, currently running the game with patch 5 (version 2.4.0.16), when I run the installer for the new patch (2.4.0.18) I get the error mentioned in the thread title, why is that?

I kept trying and messing around, it seems patch 6 (2.4.0.18) require patch 5.1 (2.4.0.17) to be installed, that's stupid since 5.1 is just Spanish translation fixes and I didn't install it since I don't speak Spanish anyway.

If I just change the registry values to make it think 2.4.0.17 is installed, will the game work after the update?

Because when I do that the patch allow me to install, I'm just worried it will mess the game up.
