In my case, having many old versions of the installs and all the patches available would just be an invitation to get myself in trouble. Many people around here can't get it right when there's one install and one or two patches available.

Like a lot of people have said earlier: Please don´t make us donwload games like this 9 GB monster more than necessary. I tried to apply the latest patch, got the "wrong version" error, downloaded again (which takes about a day on my connection) and then the files were corrupt. well one of them. but hey, i just download everything again. and next year on christmas i may be playing wasteland....

I really recommend a Link to an archive an only the latest patches displayed directly in the library windows. That way, you ensure most people get what they need.

Update: If you leave your corrupt files in the download folder (if you are using the gog downloader) it automatically checks the files it seems. my corrupt files are fixed without downloading everything again. so theres something :-)
Also, i did run the installer in admin mode, seems to be helping with glitches too.
