I was looking at the WL series today and noticed something I am hoping was an oversight. The following options are available:

WL1 for $5.99
WL2 Classic Edition (with WL1 code) for $39.99
WL2 Deluxe Edition (with WL1 code) for $59.99

Now, I could buy one (or both) of the WL2 options and get WL1 for free (if I'm not mistaken) or I could "BUY SERIES" for $105.97". The thing is, if you buy both of the WL2s, you get all three games for $99.98, so buying the series seems ti waste the buyer's money, since (again if I'm not mistaken) the buyer could only use a code once. Am I missing something?

the only difference between classic and deluxe versions is deluxe has a key for the bards tale

so just pick deluxe if you want bards tale or classic if you dont

edit: you are not mistaken in that you get wasteland I with either version of wasteland 2

You'll also get Wasteland Novella Book 1-3 with the digital deluxe edition. It also promises Wasteland Avellone Novel but it has been coming soon since release so it's possible it'll never get done at this rate. It's been 3 years since release of the game after all and WL3 is in the works.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. Ignoring the decision of which WL2 version to buy and the Bard's Tale code, either purchase will get you WL1 as well. So why did they put in a "Buy the Series" option?

well it is a series wl 1 and 2 versions of wl 2
im thinking that the buy series button is mostly an automatic thing when a series is created
i dont think that the fact that 2 of the items in the series are the same game in 2 different versions

my advice it to always check out the items listed before even considering using the buy series button
