Basically, the subject says it all. Whenever I try to run this game, it crashes and then something says this was blocked by Data Execution Prevention (DEP). I tried to make it one of the programs that isn't effected by DEP, but it says that I can't. I tried downloading from the original site, but the same thing happened. Does anyone know how to fix this?

try running in admin mode maybe? and disable any antivirus before running it.

i can't imagine why you're not allowed to change your own settings on your own pc... unless you're using a guest account, playing it in a lan shop, or have that ridiculous non-full version of windows 8.

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

in the CMD. be warned that you need to open CMD as administrator
