I bought "Warriors of the Nile 2" today and began playing it. After every battle, once I click "Leave", the game softlocks. The UI remains active, the clock is ticking, and I can click on most icons, but nothing happens. From what I have watched on videos online, the "Leave" button should have returned me to main progress map in order to select the next battle, but it doesn't. The only way out is Alt-F4.

The point where the game softlocks is immediately after the game autosaves, so this may (or may not) have something to do with my not using galaxy (which I do not plan to use, not even for testing).

P.S. The tutorial worked fine.

Any suggestions?

They destroyed the game with last patch, so at now the game is a scam.
(and I do use Galaxy)
Ask to be paid back, or do a ticket to GOG so the devs patch their game.

I was able to use an older version of the game thanks to offline downloaders (yeah, I have an archive, no it doesn't help people buying it new). It looks like the newest version fixed it though.
