Same here! I really couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the main page! :)
Same here. Just a couple of months ago I signed the wishlist with this title :).
The game has been tweaked with a wapper to be compatible with new machines but from my side I see that the cd music emulation have some jumps and i notice it a litle inconsistent and graphically seems more intensive than in the past due to the wrapper. A little slow. More cpu resource hog. I will continue testing in any case.

EDIT: Changing some options in the wrapper configurator and choosing anoter resolution like 800x600 etc makes the game run better at least in my computer.

EDIT2: And just one little thing not warlords 3 related but Warlords I. The game id is wrong. The game shows in galaxy as a some kind of an atari game remake from 2012, but not the SSG Warlords. so the info and covers are not correct.

Greetings

Same, very grateful. Was shocked seeing this actually for sale! Thanks to those who brought it on.
YUS! I've been wishing for this for years! Thanks GOG!
The memories...

I too have been waiting years on GOG to put out WL2 Deluxe or WL3:DLR (although I own a still in wrap "Super Savings" jewel case edition) It was like Xmas come early to find not only one of the series as a new release but ALL FRICKIN' THREE!!!

Now to see if the the play be e-mail will still work on WL2 so I can then gift copies to my friends who I played this with back in high school. A couple of them don't have broadband in their neck of the woods. Any one know if WL3:DLR had play be e-mail support or was such a thing outdated by then?

Also curious if the old user created maps can still be used in the GOG version of WL2 Deluxe if anyone has tried that yet.

Many, many thanks again, GOG! Know what I'll be playing waiting for the Thanksgiving/Black Friday online sales to start next Wednesday night.

We back bois.

They actually did it! This was the first thing I saw on my phone when I woke up this morning, now I'm sitting here 15 min later with a pot of coffee and the widest grin.

I'm about to ghoulspam like it was 1998! :D
I thought today was going to be another boring day, was actually looking around for a game to buy and a few hours in, I caught some news off my Steam petition thread and THIS Golden Anvil dropped into my life with a CRUNK! Off to the shop now to get milk for me coffee, some buzz food and drink and today is going to be a glorious day!
ThankyouThankyouThankyou Slitherine

Anyone know if you can add 3rd party scenarios to W3 DLR that were created before the GOG version?
I'm suprised they manage to make this playable on modern PC. I was playing W3 Reign of Heroes a lot as youngster; but I was never able to play it again after ~2000s. The game was unplayable even at Windows XP with full W98 compatability mode.

As even Heroes3 source code was lost, which is far far more popular than W3, I never hoped that I'll ever play this game again.

I don’t see why not. Give it a shot, and please let us know.

Wrong. I play W3DLR on my XP desktop for years with no compatibility and no any other tricks at all. On any newer system you'll just need to use DxWnd, it resolves all possible issues.

You could also play it on Win7. All you had to do was add the -wincursor line in the shortcut and it would run without a hitch.

I have not played by email since like 2003 or something like that but last time I checked play by email worked really well.
