is this game compatible with Windows 10? I wanted to pick it up, but found out that some people have problem with it running in background for a while then closing itself with no error. If it's true, is there anything one can do?

The unofficial 1.03.24 patch should be but other versions may not run on Windows 10 even in compatibility mode for XP.

Well, GOG's version runs great on my Chuwi VI8 (Windows 10 Home 32-bit). Played it last night.

I'm experiencing this too, Windows 10 Pro x64. Tried both through Galaxy and regular installer, none of them work. PC works for a while, the process shows up for a brief moment and then shuts down with no error.

Are you running it in compatibility mode for XP and as administrator?

Yes, and I've tried without that as well. And both through galaxy and standalone with the same result.

I've been having issues too with missing graphics that aren't "the invisible unit" bug as mentioned in

When I contacted support they basically said its not "officially win 10 compatible" yet at their end as they couldn't get it to work acceptably on their test machines.

Still waiting on them to contact me about if its better to get a refund or if they have a patch that is coming soon that is worth waiting for but thats a different issue :P

All sorted, they're giving me store credit.

Otherwise for now unless you wish to risk it, not worth getting for Windows 10 currently until they revisit it for patching

What's the current status of Win10-64 compatibility? The store page says it's Win10 compatible, but I haven't seen any confirmation from users that this is true.

I don't have any issues at all playing WB3 on Windows 10

I did however have to set the .exe to windows xp compatibility.

But been playing WB3 for a while without any issues at all.

I'm a bit leery to that win10 compatibility as I had recently refunded it for potentially issues caused by it. If you wish to give it a shot then go for it but I had so many missing elements not related to the "missing graphics bug" that it was unplayable.


Potentially could of been fixed by now but I'd wait to be safe if you are unsure.

Still having issue with few graphincs not loaded, but maybe it's a bug dued to the image names. Win 10 make difference between lowercase and uppercase, so if a file is named image.BMP and the game look for image.bmp the image result missing.
If the game maker could fix this the game will be my favorite games as in the past.
