So everything runs fine so far on my Win 10, apart from the mouse cursor disappearing when I click on any unit ability. As soon as I randomly click on the map (or even manage to target enemies with the invisible cursor), it reappears, but it is a real pain to aim abilities properly.

Has anyone been having the same issue?

P.S.: Hmm, it also appears that I'm having the issue in the northmen chaos campaign only. Weird.

I started with Chaos campaign, I noticed that the issue seems specific to abilities that are not a simple point and click on a unit. (a.k.a. area of effect attacks that require aiming and a bit of timing)

While it is annoying I found a work around instantly, you should bind the 4 ability keys to you keyboard. By default they are all F1 - F4, I swapped them to Q W E R, to mimic mobas a bit. So instead you should now be looking to aim your cursor THEN press the ability key of your choice (and use the unit range circle of course) and click.

It's still a problem in general, but using shortcut keys basically negates the issue.
Thank you for the brilliant workaround, I'll definitely give it a try! :) But it'd be nice if the issue gets dealt with on the dev side eventually.
Happy to help, now if only they could get around to my request to make Skirmish mode playable...

EDIT: uuuuuuhhhhhh, they work now, nevermind XD

I'm also having this problem on Windows 7 Bumping for that reason, I'll let you know if I find a solution.
non gog versions have the same problem, but only in chaos campaign.
I've tried the game at a friend's computer and the cursor disappears there as well. It's not possible to see both the range and the area of effect of a skill because of that. For me it's quite the turn off. We also tried using DgVoodoo to try some compatibility wih older directx but for some reason the game wouldn't use DgVoodo, we turned the watermark on to be sure if it was in use. It's a shame since this game is so awesome and this hinders the experience enough for me to not want to revisit it. Hopefully someone skilled that has some affection for this game may fix it.
