GoG is ridiculously bad for anything not released by CDPR. Rogue Trader doesn't update, I have to re-install it after every patch, and for some ridiculous reason savegames can't sync with cloud because the save folder is too big! I mean just the quicksaves and autosaves are too much for GoG... for non CDPR games. For Cyberpunk I have 100+ savegames, no problem, but having 12 saves for RT is asking too much?

And now here's the kicker: I can't unsinstall and reinstall because GOG CAN'T SYNC MY SAVE FILES.

Never gonna buy a single thing on GoG ever again.

Everything works like a charm for me, zero problems. I had also zero problems with CP77 from day one. So maybe it's not a game?

I literally updated the game now. Never had any problems installing or updating this game or with the save games (and I quicksave every 5-10 mins or so). Could be something on your end.

Never had an issue with this, or other games, I have purchased from GoG and I play on Windows 10, Windows 7, Debian, Ubuntu, Garuda, and Arch. GoG launcher on Windows and Heroic launcher on Linux distros. I also play on a variety of laptops, not just my main PC. With that said, have you tried googling the symptoms you are having to see if others are having the same issue? That is what I would do. Hopefully you have success, regardless of which game platform you purchase and play on, as Rogue Trader has been a lot of fun to play coop with family and hope others enjoy it just as much.

0 issues here rn. It's true that the save failed to sync at the beginning but it's no longer the case.

Funnily, I have the opposite mindset. I'll never buy another Steam release if I have a Gog alternative because I like to own my games.

I bought this game on gog last night and I asked for a refund within about twenty minutes because it wouldn't even install at all. I tried it on two completely different computers with different operating systems and hardware and the result was the same. It's sad that you get such results when you pay for games, whereas things usually go smoothly when you don't.

What's sad is that you can't figure out how to install a video game. Maybe take up checkers.
