Premise: I don't know why it works, but it's working fine for me now :p. Also i am using Galaxy client for the installation.

Install the game in the Program (x86) folder.
Copy (not cut) the installed game folder in another folder, this folder must be outside the Program (x86) ( mine is c:\Gog Games\WH40K Chaos Gate\ )
Run the game from the outside folder (if you still run it from the Program (x86) folder it will crash)

I will be glad if someone can explain why it's working in this way.

I'm guessing a conflict with some of Windows' security features.

To work correctly, the game cannot have more than 2 folders between itself and the root drive.

game doesnt crash, i just get constant stuttering with the mouse, and lag with actions. using windows 7

Im having the same problem as ri1977. using windows 8 on a laptop. it runs, but mouse stuttering and severe lag makes it almost unplayable, help?
