Upon launching, DOSBOX opens but the game never launches.

This seems to be an issue with Data Execution Prevention. (DEP.)

Another possibility, causing the game to crash, is stated on the GOG page below the system requirements:
"Users running older versions of Windows 10 Redstone may experience a crash on launch when running the game’s executable. Patching your operating system to the newest version (Redstone 5) should correct this issue."

Does it work if you change the output
(In Galaxy, click on More, Other, Graphical Mode setup)
And/or does it work if you use the shortcuts that are present ?
(In galaxy, click on More, Manage Installation, show folder, then click Launch Warcraft ..)

I edited DOSBOX's config file. Program files (x86) > galaxy client > games > Warcraft Orcs and Humans > dosbox_warcraft.
The only setting change that made the game work, was setting the CPU 'cycles' to AUTO (from 'fixed, 3000) which is found under the 'CPU' subsection.
I'm now playing the game :) - don't forget to use 'ctrl' to group-select units! :D *love this game*

First of all it seemed not to work at all with full screen enabled, no matter the graphic mode.
It worked with the following settings:
OpenGL, Full Screen OFF
(plus i adjusted the Window Resolution in the Advanced settings to 1080p (i got a 1440p screen). Otherwise the window is way too small.)
