Hey all has anyone else had a problem where they can't save there games. I can't save a game, however when I go to load there is no saved files and does not give any options to load. any ideas

Just today I found all my save games were missing, when they were all there a week ago the last time I played. Might be related.

This just happened to me mid game this morning. I went to load my save from the list, all was there as normal yet when i went to save again mid game the list was gone. I create a random new save then close and restart but it's still not there.

I've located the save game folder and everything is there including the random save i created but still not showing up in game. I'm even right clicking and running as admin but no luck.

How do you install to the games folder?

Hi I had this problem but sorted it tonight. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the programme but not to the default folder. You have the option to specify where the game gets installed so I just created a folder called game and installed it there. I have another drive partition where i store data and i put it there ie d:/Games. The original saves I made now appear in the load game list which was my and a few other peoples problem.

I did all the above. My saves are in the new directory as it should but it STILL isn't showing up on in game list.

If anyone has this problem with saves run the file Warcraft II BNE_dx.exe as administrator. The location for me was:

Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Warcraft II BNE
