So i finally managed to get warcraft 1 working LAN thanks to a post on that respective forum, but alas...

warcraft 2 is still a thorn in my side...

I have tried opening the IPXWrapper app thats in the warcraft 2 install folder and selecting my network adapter on each computer. Do i need to be changing other setting in this? like the network number?

I got Diablo 1 from GOG to LAN with little to no issues, but warcraft 1/2 are giving me much more trouble.

I can choose enhanced for LAN, correct? And I want IPX (because were emulating it or something with the IPXWrapper?)

Networking is not my strongest skill sadly. Can anyone sugest what I may be blindly overlooking?

also, im aware there is another website to download and lan this, but I would like to get my paid GOG copy working. I Just want to understand what is the issue.

maybe its something I am missing once I open the game?

/frustrated

Same room doesn't describe the actual network setup. I assume you have the firewalls sorted on the computers in question as you have Diablo & Warcraft working.

This post may help. Skip the Wine portion and start with "Set Primary interface to en1".
