Hello,
Iam new to GOG and I bought Warcraft I and Warcraft II. In War 2 I see no changes in the graphics if I start Warcraft 2 or Warcraft II (classic) with the Launcher. It makes no difference which settings I choose in the graphic option menu. I tried it with two different PC systems with Nvidia graphic cards and I have always the low resolution pixel graphic without
antialiasing and without filtering.
I would appriciate it, if someone could give me an advise how to use the advanced graphics of Warcraft 2. Thanks in advance.

There are no differences in the graphics themselves between the classic and updated version. It's the graphics renderer that was changed in the updated one.
Try SweetFX.
lol :peka:
I'm having this same question. Why is there an option to adjust resolution etc. if it does nothing?
When I launch the enhanced edition, it looks exactly the same as the classic version.
How can I get the custom resolutions or scaling or whatever to work?

Those options are for systems that have problems rendering the game with the correct aspect ratio and scaling -- for example if the game looks stretched out or appears as a small window in the middle of the screen. It does not enable wide-screen mode or any sort of enhanced graphics other than a basic anti-aliasing filter (which can be very hard to notice).

Thank you for the explanation!
I might play the game on a smaller monitor then, it looks very pixelated on a 24" screen. I keep trying to zoom out lol.
