The launcher starts, I add the cd key, start the game HD or Classic and both just give a black screen for 0.5 - 1 seconds. I can hear the old old blizzard logo but that's it. Then it just closes.

Warcraft I. works just fine. WC2 does not work at all.

I was playing WC2 for weeks and this just started happening to me as well. i'v tried un installing and re installing, i'v changed video settings, nothing seems to work.

Hmm, I wonder if it's a recent Win10 update? I sent Tech. Troubleshot message to GoG's official CS but I just get a *daily* canned response of this:

I crash to desktop instantly at the intro movie in both HD and Classic from the Launcher. Everyone else can get past the Blizzard Logo movie and into the game? How did I get a bad smackw32.dll?

I have installed/reinstalled several times. I have verified files several times. I have gone through every ini file attempting to find a way to skip into movies.

I requested my money back and I get nothing but canned responses over and over for days.

Seems this has been an issue for a couple months at least, but not a single person has played this game since it was released on GoG. CS does not answer anything and this game is dead in the water.

I strongly suggest to not buy this game our you will be hosed out of money.

How long does GOG CS take to respond? Currently waiting almost four days now, is it simply not possible to get support for this game or a reply of any kind? Should I translate all my messages to polish? Not sure what's supposed to be normal here--for wait times-- but most businesses only take one day, two maximum.
