Thank you so much for this renderer, this is wonderful
I can't get the rapper to work with the enhanced version of the game. Is it Possible?

No it will only work with the classic version plus a patch was just released that should fix most of the mouse issues (it did for me at least)

Would there be any benefit from doing so? What can the enhanced version do that the classic version with cnc-ddraw can't?
Man this is awesome! The game looks fantastic!

Is there a blog / website / twitter / whatever where updates on cnc-ddraw are posted?
Hello FunkyFr3sh, I was really suprised, that cnc-ddraw is possible to use for different games, not only for cnc games. That is great. I enjoyed Warcraft II (i decided to use xbrz-freescale.glsl, but this is really minor thing).

I tested cnc-ddraw for Diablo II too (version 1.13d). It looks great, but is there possibility for using fullscreen true with correct aspect ratio? I am not sure what I did wrong, but I got stretched picture every time even I set maintas=true. The only working solution was:

width=1600
height=1200
fullscreen=false
windowed=true
maintas=true

But this gives me a "window". And I prefer fullscreen with black borders - like in Warcraft II. Is it possible?

My screen has 1920x1200 resolution, I have GTX1050Ti, I have set maintain aspect ration for gpu with override program settings option on.

There is no website dedicated to cnc-ddraw, it isn't famous enough! The best way to keep up-to-date is to create a github account and follow the progress there, you should be able to receive notifications whenever a new release came out :)

Oh, it works for a lot of games, I should really add a list with all supported games to the github page...

Your settings look good for Diablo II, make sure you have "handlemouse=true" set, otherwise "maintas" will be ignored in fullscreen.

If it still doesn't work with "handlemouse=true" then scroll down in ddraw.ini and delete all the presets for other games (It could be that a preset for another game is conflicting with Diablo II). Delete everything below "; ### Game specific settings ###"

Thank you! It works! The problem had to be hidden somewhere in specific settings section because when I deleted the section it started to work as I expect. Thank you for your support.

Do you have any recommendation about shaders? I tried xbr-lvl2 and compared to xbrz-freescale looks more "cartoony" so I prefer xbrz. Are there any better shaders?

Thanks for reporting back, will be fixed in the next release

Here is a good comparison of different pixel-art scaling algorithms:

Nearest can be enabled by setting "Shader=", bilinear used to be supported but I dropped it (It's way too blurry...).

I personally like xBR and xBRZ the most.
Someone made screenshots on a 4k monitor with 4x scaling:

Made a new release, now with improved battle.net support (including windowed mode for battle.net!)
