Thanks for the links. I'll be using this ddraw version for Diablo. It would be nice if the shader repository included what does each shader try to do.
Thanx for the post , game looks great now

Netrex44: Here's a screenshot comparison between GOG's optimized version and the ddraw.dll found in this topic.
The comparison screenshot isn't in your post. Could you re-upload it?
For some reason I'm not able to attach screenshots or refer to a link yet. GOG doesn't tell me why. Maybe it's because I need more replies idk

Did you get it to work with Diablo? I just get a CD check error
Sure it works. When you get a missing CD error, you get a noCD patch.

I can post the link for you, just send me a PM, and I'll share it.

Shouldn't work with diablo atm, I started working on it just recently and you would need to compile the diablo_warcraft2 branch on your own if you want to try. It's far from perfect though, main menu doesn't scale, bnet doesn't scale and windowed mode shows multiple windows in the menu - during the gameplay it works perfectly though.

Strange that Realpsojed claims it is (I am not interested in adding no cd patches even if it did though). Thanks for the Warcraft 2 version, it looks amazing with the CRT shader :)

Well, it works if I don't try to set custom resolutions. Here's some screenshots using
width=0
height=0
fullscreen=true
windowed=true
maintas=true
renderer=opengl
and 4xScaleHQ shader that I borrowed from the repository. Yours keeps the game in fullscreen windowed while also showing the texts of bnet in the "real" window to the side. Which is much better than all other ddraw options that I tried so far.
One of the screenshots is jpg since GOG wouldn't let me upload files over 500Kb ...

Also here's comparing different shaders in action.

Got a hold of a disk image to allow the CD check and can indeed confirm it works. Nice :)

Yeah, the bnet screenshot shows the problem that I'm still working on. Actually the main menu got a similar issue, there are also windows layered on top of the main window, but you're smart and managed to hide the problem by setting 'fullscreen=true', 'windowed=true' and 'maintas=true' :)

This is amazing, thanks so much FunkyFr3sh
This helped with an issue I was having with the in-game cursor.
I just had to change some lines in the .ini file.

I don't think they're willing to verify your files, let alone give you a positive reply, authorizing you to use it in multiplayer matches.
