I'm looking for people to play War Wind 2 online.

This is posssible with hamachi. I already played a couple of games with someone and uploaded them on Youtube. Just look for "War Wind 2 Multiplayer" on Youtube

So I'm also looking to play online. Unfortunately, I've tried to play on VPN with no luck (with someone I know). Even when we're connected on the same router I can't use multiplayer.. Is there anyway you could post a tutorial on YouTube or a write up on here?

I seen some of your YouTube vids and definitely got excited someone figured this out.

For my Discord server I made the mistake that my invite link on all my YT Video expired after a short time. So I have to replace them all with a new link that expires never >.<. I will do that in the next 30minutes, so you will find the new link there. i still cant post links here until I have seven reputation points in this forum it seems. I changed to code in my first post to K6dwmrs

To play online both need hamachi. The host opens a TCP/IP Game and the second player joins the game by writing the hamachi IP address and the port. This will like 12.24.36.48 / 1234. That worked for us and we already played a lot of games. When you join the discord server we can try it.

Eaggra1, I also saw your youtube videos (1sst ever recorded and uploaded multiplayer match on March 1 2020 haha) and was wondering the same thing on how you set up multiplayer. Thank you for your walkthrough. When this goes on sale again I will pick up and get on your discord.

BTW, were there any new insights on countering marine choppers as descendents? Security are pretty much the only unit which can hit them, (profs can't) and the DPS advantage is with marines. Upgraded gun cars? Upgraded wasps? What is a cost efficient counter?

so when you have War Wind 2 you can check my discord server and we can try to play some matches :).

So War Wind 2 is one of the worst balanced games that I know. I have not noticed so far that the marine choppers are also that efficient against the descandents. But the rocket tower is a quiet good defence against the helicopters. One tower can easily take down one viper without getting to much damage. Wasp are not suitable to fight against vipers. Also cars are not super great, also when there are upgraded.

But you have the same thing when someone attacks you with hover tanks. I tested several tactics in my multiplayer games how you can destroy hover tanks with the descandents. I came to the result that there is no efficent way to destroy about five hover tanks. So also rocket tower are ok and professors/inventors can put a bit damage. Trip mines are good but you have to place them on the right spots where your enemy. One problem is that you need butanium (1 trip mine costs 1 butanium) for this. To get butanium you need a workbot what needs a lot of resources.

When you play with overlord you only train one worker three times and then he can build hover tanks (3500 resources, 6 butanium) ans can also build a butanium synthesizer.
