Status update.
As soon as you guys informed us about the bug, we reached out to Telltale to see if we could figure out what happened. It turns out that this problem described here only occurs in the game's build provided to us by Telltale Games. They know about it and are addressing it right now. We believe this should be resolved tomorrow.

We're very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you, but rest assured we won't give up on this until it's fixed.
Great news. Did they/you work on it at the weekend?

Not much for us to do, really. Well, apart from describing the problem in detail to the guys at Telltale. Now it's up to them to deliver a properly working build to us, and I sincerely believe they're doing whatever they can to do it as soon as possible.
excellent news. thank you for the progress update.
Hmmmm. Tomorrow ... Let's keep fingers crossed :-) From my experience you never now with this bloody software bugs until you figured out the root cause. I hope this is a simple one.
Anyway, thanks GOG for the fast response and updates.
Thanks for the quick response!
Hopefully it's not a huge issue. W&G was a nice break.

Hello GOG Team!

I just wanted to say that I'm experiencing the same frustrating problem with the toast (Gromit doesn't want to give the toast to Wallace). However, I'm not going to say that I want my money back - I am a patient guy and I will wait for a patch. It is a bit sad that this bug occurs only in GOG version... Well, I hope it will be fixed soon. In the meantime I will start downloading and playing a bunch of other games (including Witcher 2).... Thanks GOG for response and for looking after your customers!! Cheers!!

Any news? Im looking forward playing that game.
Any news on when this will be fixed the other episodes work fine.
Telltale is giving us the silent treatment :-( I sincerely hope that's because they are so busy fixing the issue. I'll update you again as soon as I learn something new. And once again, we apologize.

Fair enough, we'll continue waiting.

However, I believe you should temporarily disable the "Add to Cart" or "Buy" button on W&G's game card page to prevent others from buying a broken product until fixed. Or at the very least add a BIG WARNING as part of the purchase process (not everyone looks through the forum before buying).
We received a new build from Telltale. We're in the process of testing if this is the build we were supposed to get in the first place. We want to make sure that this time around there will be no problem. If it's all good the problematic build will be replaced later today. Please join us in keeping our fingers crossed, and once again: we apologize.
That's great, thanks!
How will it stand with current game progress on the working episodes?

Will it fix the hidden tutorial text issue on higher screen resolutions?
Did you know that there is a weird graphic bug on episode 2 where Wallce walks around in the basement looking like he has a dummy in his mouth as the smile graphic and "o mouth" graphic are both displayed?

Cheers!
