Status update.
As soon as you guys informed us about the bug, we reached out to Telltale to see if we could figure out what happened. It turns out that this problem described here only occurs in the game's build provided to us by Telltale Games. They know about it and are addressing it right now. We believe this should be resolved tomorrow.

We're very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you, but rest assured we won't give up on this until it's fixed.

Not much for us to do, really. Well, apart from describing the problem in detail to the guys at Telltale. Now it's up to them to deliver a properly working build to us, and I sincerely believe they're doing whatever they can to do it as soon as possible.

Telltale is giving us the silent treatment :-( I sincerely hope that's because they are so busy fixing the issue. I'll update you again as soon as I learn something new. And once again, we apologize.

We received a new build from Telltale. We're in the process of testing if this is the build we were supposed to get in the first place. We want to make sure that this time around there will be no problem. If it's all good the problematic build will be replaced later today. I'm happy to tell you guys, that the patch fixing the toast bug has finally been uploaded to our servers (labeled as "Universal Patch"). You can apply it to your existing installation to fix your game. We've also replaced the main file, so everyone buying the game now and installing it won't have to apply the patch.
